As we were watching Moana last night, Charles ran up to Joe Seaman and asked, "Why do some people want to each chickens? Not chicken nuggets, but real chickens like Hei Hei?"  😳Uh, oh.

Charles: I forgot to be a gentleman. (He didn't hold the door for me.) I kissed his head. He asked: Can I make a mistake? Me: Yes! Everyone makes mistakes. Charles: Then why did Jesus....When God made me, why didn't he make me smart? Me: What do you mean? You are smart. Charles: I'm not smart. Why didn't God make me smart? Me: You are smart. Why do you think you aren't? Charles: Because I'm not good at numbers. I can't do numbers. Me: What do you mean? You know your numbers. Charles: I can't do minus. Me: You are still learning. You are just in kindergarten. You are still learning.
