Pool Party!

The church was invited to a BBQ and pool party in a couple's backyard yesterday. We had an amazing time--especially the boys! They loved the pool! Charles was able to borrow a float suit and didn't want to get out of the water--except when he ran around to the diving board to be tossed in. When he crashed on the car rude home, he was out for the night--until 9:30 when everyone else wanted to sleep and he was ready to go again. Thank goodness to Baby First TV that helped calm him back to sleep!

Monsters, napping, and play!

On Tuesday last week, we went to see Monsters University in the theater. Charles loved it--especially the popcorn! We shared a large tub of popcorn and a large pink lemonade and had to get refills of both! Charles sat through all the previews, the short, and the feature movie until the last half hour when he got tired. We stood in the back if the theater (there were only three other families) until he fell asleep.

We had a play date with Ian and Zoe Wells on Thursday, and the children played nonstop for about five hours! When it was over, Charles took a long nap. He is such a sweet little angel!

Saturday, while William, Mommy, and Daddy went to see Wicked, Charles stayed with Aunt Jamie and Uncle Dennis and played with Nathaniel all day! When we went to pick him up, the two were climbing on the sofa and jumping off! No nap all day and still going full steam!

Spaghetti

Charles begged for my spaghetti tonight. He is having fun slurping up the little noodles. Yum! Now we need another bath.

Back yard swamp

Charles and William were playing in the back yard. Charles got into the sand table, but since we are low on sand, he started scooping up dirt from the ground to add to the mixture! I don't know who started the transformation of our clean pool to a back yard swamp, but Charles and William had a great time at it!

Church

We started Charles out in the sanctuary with us this morning. He was very into participating in the service and wanted to hold his own book and sing along with the congregation.

Lake Hartwell

Charles had a great time visiting his Great Aunt Lisa and Great Uncle John and riding on their boat.

Adventure Day!

June 27th, we drove to Columbia,SC for lunch at Pawley's Front Porch, a feature on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, and then we went to the Riverbanks Zoo! It was a hot but fun day!

Laurens Playground

Charles and William had lots of fun playing at the playground beside the river in Laurens. Such a good morning!

Beach fun
