Charles is trying to talk, and he is doing a pretty good job of making some close attempts. March 30, as I was getting Charles dressed, Lang Se came into the room and plopped on the floor in front of Charles, and Charles came out with a very convincing "kitty" which he repeated several times. William heard it, too. He ran into the room and said, "Charles said kitty!" The next day, while Joe was brushing his teeth in the bathroom, Charles called out "Daddy!" Joe heard him and answered, "Yes, Charles." We both heard it pretty clearly. He will also come out with phrases that sound like "I'm done" while eating. And then he comes out with "hey" complete with wave when someone walks in the room.
